There are different types of blenders, however, which depending on their accessories, may or may not prepare the ingredients for a dessert.

1. Yogurt cake

This type of dessert is light and healthy, an excellent snack for your children.

Ingredients

  • Greek yogurt
  • Butter
  • Egg
  • Cornstarch
  • 00 flour
  • Organic lemon zest
  • Salt and baking powder

Preparation

First, cut the butter into cubes and soften it, then pour it into a bowl and add the sugar. Once this is done, you can do the first pass of the blender (with one or two whips mounted). Blend for 10 minutes to reach the right density, then add the eggs one at a time. Continue with the whisk, and in the meantime, add yogurt and salt. Only at the end, add the lemon zest and mix the final mixture with a spatula.

In another bowl, we will have had to pour and sift all together flour, starch, and yeast, so as to add it to the final mixture, which will then be poured into a greased and floured cake pan.

Place it in the oven, preheated to 175º, and cook for 50 minutes. Once you have followed all these instructions, the cake will be ready.

2. Cookies

Always at hand for a tea or a snack, biscuits are a must in a home, especially if you can have them do it yourself. And then, you know, one leads to another. Let’s get to know some simple steps to prepare delicious cookies.

Ingredients

  • Dark chocolate
  • Sugar
  • Yolks
  • 00 flour
  • Butter
  • Baking powder
  • Salt up (pinch)

Preparation

As a first step, the dark chocolate must be minced with a blender so that, when placed in a bain-marie, it can melt properly. While this cools, pour the flour into the mixer, the cold butter, and that pinch of salt, and operate the blender until you get a sandy mixture that you will transfer to another bowl. Add sugar and melted chocolate. Divide the yolks from the whites and add the first beat to the mixture with a fork. Finally, pour the yeast and start kneading everything with your hands (cold so as not to heat the mixture) to dissolve any lumps. Wrap it in cling film and leave it in the fridge for 30 minutes.

Once you have waited the necessary time, remove the film and flatten the mixture with a rolling pin creating a thickness of 1cm. Create round molds measuring approximately 4-5 cm, transfer them to a baking sheet with parchment paper and bake them in a preheated oven at 180º for 13 minutes. After it’s time, take them out and let them cool for 15 minutes. Once cold, they will be crumbly and ready to taste.

3. The mousse

It is up to you to choose the type of chocolate and the doses to use

  • 70% dark chocolate
  • Whole milk
  • Fresh whipping cream
  • Egg yolks
  • Caster sugar

Preparation

First, you need to melt the chocolate in a bain-marie while preparing the cream (mix egg yolks, milk, and cream in a saucepan over low heat). The mixture must completely cover the spoon to be ready. Then, transfer it to a container and blend it with the hand blender for a velvety texture. Then pour 1/3 of the (hot) cream into the melted chocolate and mix until it becomes shiny and smooth. Add the other third of the cream, mix again and follow this process until the cream runs out.

In the end, blend everything for an even more velvety effect, add the whipped cream (cold), alternating it with various mixes, until finished.

At this point, your mousse is ready.

Strawberry mousse is even faster: just clean and cut the strawberries and blend them with granulated sugar to obtain a smooth and homogeneous cream. At the same time, whip the cream and then add your compounds. Attention, remember that to turn the cream, you will have to make slow and delicate movements from top to bottom so as not to disassemble it.

Refrigerate 20 minutes before serving.

4. Mascarpone cream

A tasty cream to fill whatever you want, to be prepared with your blender. 1 egg will be enough to whip with the blender, sugar to add to the whipping to make it even more frothy; add the mascarpone 1 tablespoon at a time to mix it well; finally, add the egg white that you have whipped apart. The last process will be done with the usual spatula movement from down to up.
